Winx – Limited Edition Print

So some time ago I was given permission from Debbie Kepitis via Analese Trollope of Chris Waller Racing to paint Winx, I did this painting after her 25th win. The owners all saw it at that time however something Patty Tighe said made me decide not to show it until after she had safely finished racing! I am somewhat superstitious!

I simply wanted to capture her beauty on canvas, I did it because I can, I did it because she is beautiful and for my love of the flying thoroughbred. I didn’t want to only paint her racing and part of the reason for that is the way her owners and the people connected to her look at her in some of the photos.

She is not just Winx superstar, she is Winx their girl, They look at her the way I look at my own horse, and that is why I really wanted to do this painting. When she is racing you can see she knows her job, she loves her job and her work ethic is amazing. But I also wanted to show her non racing side, as she is genuinely beautiful, she knows she is a superstar and she knows how to work the camera!

So that I could share my painting with you I have created a strictly limited edition print run. This is your chance to own a bespoke piece of Winx history, each hand signed by me with a certificate of authenticity. Once they are sold this print image will never be available again. When you purchase from me you, you do so knowing that I spent countless hours creating this and it was painted from my heart and soul.

I genuinely hope you love my painting as my as I loved creating it!

Helen

Here is the beautiful Asha, she was a mix of breeds, mastiff/german shepherd/kelpie/staffy cross - and probably a few others thrown in! She was with her owners from a puppy until she passed in June at the age of 13yrs. One of things that they wanted to have was the little wrinkles on her forehead, which was just so cute! This was the response I got once the painting had arrived! This is why I love my job so much! To be trusted with something so precious is humbling, and comments like these make me happy dance! 💞🐾
“Just arrived!! I love it Helen!! I've seen people say you got their animals personality in the pic but I never really understood that until I saw this! We knew you'd do a great job & you have, we're so happy with it” and “I was just admiring it again! You've nailed all the colours perfectly and she had lots of different colours in her coat”.

How gorgeous is this pony! He is called Lily's Pageant aka Basil. He is only 4 years old in his 1st season of showing and look what he did! Won his class at the Grand Nationals this year. I'm thinking this delightful boy has a big future! His owners are so very proud of him! they should also be proud of themselves as well, turning out such an impeccable pony! so I'm looking forward to painting Basil again when he wins his next garland!! lol. Thanks so much Sandy Natale for choosing me to paint him! 💞🐴😁
