When I feel low I watch my cats, touch their soft fur, listen to their purr and I feel the light return.

progress being made on Posterboy, the iconic brumby stallion! He is so handsome, takes my breath away.
I've actually learnt a bit of patience with this medium, finding if I just take it a little bit slower I have much better control of my scalpel blade.
So channeling my inner zen master and chanting, take it easy, take it easy to myself! lol Hope you think its working! lol
many thanks to Snowy Brumby Photography Adventures with Michelle and Ian for the use of the photo!

Boy meets Girl! I painted a love story! These paintings are called "Reach Out" and "Stretch" While they are individuals I also painted them to be together!

I love them, very super happy with how they look.

They are both in my shop on fine art paper in 3 standard sizes however if that isnt what you want just shoot me a message and I can pretty much print them to what ever size you like and also on canvas ready to hang.

Do you think they love each other??? hmm I do.

Thanks so my awesome friend Andrea Zachrau Photography for the photo references. xxxx

Gotta love a staffy! And Alvey is no exception, such a beautiful girl! I was delighted to be asked to paint her for Katie and her family. Alvey passed away recently at 14 ½ yrs old. She was a much loved and huge part of the family.

The painting is now with her ashes and her paw print cast, such a special way to remember her. There were tears, love and the whole family are so happy she is home, where she will always belong.

In loving memory of Alvey. xxx

Oh I do love scratch board, this will be a really wonderful image. It is actually a fabulous wild brumby called, Posterboy.
The plight of this iconic horse is desperate, they should be left alone, wild and free, not shoot from a helicopter!
when did people in power start to think they have the right to inflict pain on another living being!
They seem to have forgotten they work for us, and we want them left alone!
Many thanks to Snowy Brumby Photography Adventures with Michelle and Ian Michelle for the photos. If you love Brumbies head over to this page, there are some amazing photos and a straight forward and factual account of the high country.

I painted Angus for my best friends, he was also a friend of mine, I used to go and feed and check on him and their horses if they were away. I always knew I had to allow time to do it, as Angus would never let me just pop in!! he turned those eyes on me and well, lets just say he had me wrapped around his paws!!

I was so sad when he passed away. He was a wonderful boy and I know just how much he is missed, it was a pleasure to be able to take him home to them this week.

I was quite teary at times painting him. Such a personal portrait of a beautiful soul. In loving memory of Angus xxx

Atrevido 1978-2003. Painted for his owners 70th Birthday present. What a life they shared together, the photos were very very old and a bit hard to work from but they spoke volumes about the bond between them. Painted in loving memory. ... See MoreSee Less
